The categories of  members of the association are:
  • Trainee members-  individuals;
  • Members - individuals;
  • Accredited members - individuals
  • Corporate members - companies
  • Inactive members - individuals
  • Honorary members- individuals


Trainee members

This category includes persons involved in a professional training program (internship) attending training courses (150 hours),  preparing valuation reports and passing a final examination (write and interview) and follow practice period. They are not entitle to work as authorized valuer.



Members are persons who passed the final examination at the end of the training period and who maintain their quality as members by:
  • Paying the annual fee in the amount and within the deadlines set by the Board of Directors;
  • Contracting a professional liability insurance policy for the valuation activity;
  • Attending an annual  continuous professional development equivalent to at least 20 hours.

Accredited members

  • Any member with 3 years experience as valuer can become an accredited member after passing an examination (write and interview) according to specific accreditation norms, established in accordance with Accreditation Regulation Approved by the Board of Directors.
  • The accredited membership is granted for a period of 5 years from the date of the accreditation exam.
  • According with TEGoVA agreement accredited members can apply for Recognised European Valuer (REV)
  • According with RICS agreement accredited members can apply for Member of RICS (MRICS) using a simplified procedure


Corporate members

  • Corporate members are legal who cumulatively meet a series of specific conditions, according to Government Ordinance 24/2011, amended as per Law No. 99/2013.


Inactive members

  • This category includes persons, who by acquiring other qualities, become incompatible with the valuation profession according to the applicable laws or to the statutes of organization of other professions.
  • They are not entitle to work as authorized valuer.


Honorary members

  • Honorary members are Romanian or international personalities with prestigious activities in the field of valuation and who have made an important contribution to strengthening the prestige of the ANEVAR and the profession of valaution Honorary members are appointed by the National Conference, as proposed by the Board of Directors.


Honorary membership shall not entitle honorary members to work as authorized valuers.
